No. Delegate is a marketplace and trust layer that coordinates requests with travelers already making the journey. Delegate does not operate planes, trucks, or a traditional delivery fleet.

The complete model supports two request types: ask a traveler to buy something abroad, or ask a traveler to carry something you already own. Each capability activates only when its payment, legal, item, and corridor requirements are ready.

The requester suggests a reward. The traveler can accept, decline, or counter. Suggested ranges may be shown as guidance from corridor data, but Delegate does not impose a courier-style flat rate.

No. Items are reviewed against the active corridor’s rules. Some items may be suitable, some require manual review, and others are not accepted. The Item Guide helps you check before you create a request.

Before a person can accept custody, the pilot requires the verification and approval steps defined for that corridor. This website will describe the exact live verification method only after it is operating.

A Hub performs the intake, inspection, sealing, scanning, storage, or release tasks assigned to that package’s custody route. A Hub does not handle customer payments, decide disputes, or make customs decisions.

Customers and travelers must describe items honestly and follow the applicable rules. Delegate can provide preparation guidance and structured records, but authorities make the final decision. Delegate does not clear customs, and the outcome belongs to the authority. The full position is set out in the Terms.

Timing depends on a real traveler trip, item review, Hub requirements, and the recipient. When a request is matched, the app shows the relevant dates and current estimate. There is no universal delivery time, and Delegate does not publish one.

The request may remain open, receive a different offer, or be paused until suitable travel supply exists. The app shows the status clearly rather than inventing availability.

The request is paused, relevant payment and custody actions are frozen where possible, evidence is preserved, and support follows the issue process for that stage. The exact remedy depends on the approved terms, evidence, and responsibility at the time.

Delegate is in pilot onboarding on North America → Addis Ababa. A corridor opens only after its Hub, traveler supply, item rules, destination recovery, support, legal, insurance, and release checklist are approved.
